Well, maybe not so soon...
Sorry to say that I've been consumed with a project at work and I've done nothing with the website [I have thought about it quite a bit though]. I didn't expect this work thing would last as long as it did and it should be over in a couple of weeks.
I'm hoping that after the first of the year I can get things going - I really am committed to doing this.
Several people have told me that they have misplaced their copy of the 1965 yearbook [the Manet] and I thought we could post it on the website. Ideally the pages that we post would have no writing on them and this makes it a little complicated unless someone had a pretty clean copy. I can also work from several copies and hope to find among them most or all pages.
If you have a copy that is relatively clean, or know someone who has, please let me know via NQHS-1965.org.
Also, there's a bit of work that needs to be done to build the site, and these efforts require just
moderate computer skills [like Word and or Excel] and is mostly grunt work. If you'd like to help out please let me know.
I envision a site where everyone could post pictures, bios etc about themselves [only if they wanted to and only what info they wanted to]. And while I know there are many social networking sites on the web, I'm certainly not trying to duplicate them [and we would allow links to them]. Ours would be totally free and customized to exactly what we want to do - which is to allow 1965 NQHS alumni to keep in touch.

Coming soon....
Well, we all had a great time at our 42nd & 1/4 reunion last Saturday night! Many thanks to Rick and Oakie for the work they did to put this together for all of us to enjoy!
We're just getting this blog setup now and we'll allow everyone to make posts when it's ready. However, you can add comments to existing posts right now.
And we're also building a website NQHS-1965.org to post pictures and to maintain an emailing list. Yes, I know that this is a little redundant with Classmates.com, but all of our stuff will be free and hopefully a little less cumbersome.
Rick Goldstein is going to send me the pictures he took that night as well as the class pictures that were passed around and we'll post them all onto the website.
I'm kinda busy right now with work stuff, so come back mid-September to see what's been done. Sign-up right now on the emailing list at NQHS-1965.org and we'll notify you about updates to the website and when this blog has been activated for everyone.
